Yeah.

I was cleaning out my shoes after planting

and made this fun discovery....

the clog sprinkler!

Or, whatever.

I got a kick out of it!

The age of asparagus

 This is the dawning of the age of asparagus in my garden.

Finally I am getting a crop.

I am still in the stage where I have to harvest "lightly",

 and it torments me to not be able to cut it all and gobble it up....

But next spring I will have gobs!

Office help

Randy and Zayne are here from Golden Colorado for a few weeks.

Today Zayne got to spend the afternoon in the office.

She mostly did well, perhaps a little bit high maintenance like

most office personnel.

Yoga in the Skate Park

Window Glazing

 This is an old window frame I aquired years ago.

I intend for it to become a screen between the freezer and the rest of the basement

in the great room.

These are glaziers points to hold the glass in.

I was telling my cousin what I was doing and she wanted the details,

so I am sharing the project.

 I cleaned all the old and mildewy glazing out

 and cleaned up the frame and put the glass back in.

 ANd am re-glazing.

I think I will hang lace on the back side so that it is more of a screen

but this is all the further I have gotten so far.

Peace

Beltane ski trip up Mt.Vernon way.

I was third in line and the tracks of those in front of me

gave me the idea to make this sign of peace!

May Day

 May Day and this is how much snow is in the mountains

 just across the valley from my house.

 It was a gorgeous sunny day, a rarity this spring.

I love this bright green contrast in the 8 feet of snow midslope.
